Start of Prep

18 weeks!
OMG!
New meal plan...
Let's go!

I am a little excited, I know...  Bear with me, because when I post at around 5 weeks out or so, I may be a cranky bitch and these won't be near as fun and light hearted! :)

Even though I had a bit of a lapse on Sunday and Monday, I finished the week strong and was 100% on food and water intake.  Funny how that works and when I weighed in this morning, I had lost 2 lbs!  (and this was still on my +/- 3,000 calorie diet)

Kick started a new meal plan today.  Even though it is about 800 calories less, it was still a lot of food and tasted pretty darn good!  No more weekly cheats...  Only when the food Nazi (aka Big Jon) tells me I can.  Here was my dinner tonight...

Petite Sirloin, red potatoes, green beans

I do have to say, I was a bit saddened to see my good ole 'monster' shakes go away...  They taste so damn good!
Last of the monster shakes :(
I enjoyed every last bit of it!

I figured with the start in reducing calories, etc. it was probably as good as time as any to take some pictures and start watching my progress.  I searched high and low this morning for my bikini and this was what I came up with!  Circa 1992!  Oh ya!  I have no idea why I still have this...  Wishful thinking that I would one day resume my high school volleyball days body?  Well, to hell with that, I am working on a BETTER body!  Please excuse the backside photo...  I wanted to smack my husband when I saw it and said "Gee honey, you could have told me to pull my suit out of my ass!"...  hahaha
Wow, this suit looks flourescent!
After the last 3 months of trying to bulk and no cardio, I definitely added some fluff to my midsection and my backside and thighs have always been the last place for me to lose from.  I was kind of surprised when I looked at these and saw how skinny my legs looked to the rest of my body!  This girl needs to get some serious leg action and workouts going!

Oh, notice the shoes I am wearing???  Yes, they finally came in and I have been wearing them around the house when cooking, etc.  I kind of freaked the first day...  Thought I pulled something in my arch and oh, the pain that followed!  I looked at my husband and said "what am I doing?  How am I going to do this???".  Well, it is getting better.  I can't quite 'strut my stuff', but I can get around and stand in them for a bit and not be in any pain.  Getting the whole walk down, heels or not is going to be some interesting work for me!  This girl needs to find her sass too!

Here are my starting stats...
Weight:  140 lbs
Neck:  12.25 in
Shoulders:  39.5 in
Chest:  36.25 in
Bicep:  11.25 in
Waist (narrow):  27.5 in
Waist (wide):  34.5 in
Hips:  39 in
Thighs:  22.5 in
Calf:  12.5 in

  1. Thats pretty amazing that you lost 2 lbs on 3000 calories a day!! Kinda defies all logic for those ladies that only eat 800 calories a day in an effort to get skinny. :)
